Safety is important for everyone

Safety on our roofs is important, from the individual home owner to professionals who work on the roof. All roofs that are accessed must have roof safety equipment. It is also important to know who is responsible for what.
The property owner is responsible for roof safety equipment being present and for it being maintained. During the construction period, the building proprietor
is responsible for the rules being followed.
The person carrying out the installation work must ensure that the roof safety equipment is correctly installed.
The employer is responsible for the employee being provided with personal safety equipment and for ensuring that this equipment is used.
The person carrying out the work must use the safety equipment he has been allocated. Bear in mind that a fall limiter is the best personal protection and the one that is kindest to the body.
