Standing seam mount for Snap-on-Roofs
Weland Stål has developed an integrated standing seam mount and a standing seam mount for ladders intended for prefabricated strip covering, so-called Snap-on-Roof. The mounts are approved for installation on all available makes of Snap-on-Roof and they function in the same way as the standard standing seam mounts. The integrated standing seam mount comes ready for mounting on plates that are laid from right to left, which is the most common way. If the metal roof is laid from the other direction, the jaws should be removed and mounted on the other side of the mount. The mount for ladders is reversible and suitable for roofs laid left to right and right to left. The integrated mount is approved for the installation of ridge railings, snow guards, guardrails and roof gangways. However, the mount is not approved as a single fastener for lifelines, at least 2 mounts with a pipe in-between are required. The ladder mount is approved for roof ladders and snow rakes.
